What people said after our last retreat:
“The retreat was relaxing, energizing and down right fabulous. Allison’s effort, time and hardwork was noticable throughout the entire weekend from the goodie bags on arrival to the individually tailored practices. I had a great weekend and wouldn’t hesitate to do it all again”~ Bernadette
” My experience is that the people make these events special. Likeminded people doing something they’re all drawn towards. The yoga is the binding glue and learning, playing, experimenting, practising is the main thing. But just getting away from it all and being with people with a similar leaning is great. The introduction of meditation was really good. The silence thing – initially not a fan! But it was actually really good. As you said – being prepared to practise with your whole heart. Open up and give it a go. So that was really good actually. I think you did a great job and it was a fantastic weekend. So thanks heaps and I look forward to the next one!” ~Max
“I would happily recommend this retreat to friends and will hopefully be in a position to attend again next year. I loved the location and proximity to home, the classes were well thought out and perfect in both content and timing and this retreat would be a fantastic opportunity for yogis at any level to attend and immerse themselves a little more deeply in both yoga and good old fashioned peace and quiet :-)” ~Ngaire
“What a wonderful Yoga Retreat. What a wonderful setting to practice yoga with friends, our Live and Breathe Yoga Community. A must-have annual event (… hopefully)”. ~Martyn
“I loved, loved, loved this retreat. Their warmth and love for the practice glows so brightly that it warms everyone around them. I met a bunch of gorgeous people who I shared loads of laughs and great memorable moments with. A perfect retreat to let go, ground yourself, learn, and meet exceptional people”. ~Biannka
Looking back on Allison’s Yoga Retreat, I realise that I was uniquely lucky to have been a part of it all. I had been on yoga retreats before, but this one really took it to another level. The yoga program was everything we have come to expect from Allison with the addition of beautifully given meditation sessions. Naturally, Allison gains great strength from those around her and this was no exception with creative writing sessions which gave us all amazing insights which we probably may have missed without it. Each session seemed to cruise by easily and there was plenty of time to follow other things, or just rest up “la dolce farnyiente” style. A special weekend. A special teacher and a special sangha of yogis all supporting each other with love and lots of fun.” ~ Frank
“The time away meant that I had the mental space and time to truly look at myself, my thought process and my habits. I learnt that my strategy in life is to avoid challenging things and then when I need to push through I get frustrated at myself for not achieving what I think I should. Something you said keeps running through my mind “real life is your yoga practice”. So I am trying to take some extra breathes and just accept things as they are. Sign me up for the next one!” ~Ro
